I have seriously LOVED the MTC!!! I Love this pilot program that I'm in (even though I don't really know how different it is from the norm) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my companion and my district!!! We play Hardcore 4 Square for exercise time, and believe it or not, I am actually becoming kind of decent at it!!!! Also, HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all of the Fathers and future Fathers in my life that i love and care about!!!!! <3   

Earlier this week Sister Larsen and I recognized that we were having a hard time teaching to the needs of our investigator (which is key to converting them to Christ and not just the church or to people in it) and we were being told that one way to help do that is by asking questions!! One of our teachers, Brother Anderson (who played our first investigator Tanner before he was our teacher) sat down with us and worked through it with us. We still aren't perfect at it, but we are now to a point where we can teach with questions to help them see the importance of what we are teaching them and how to apply it to their lives, and why!!!  Because of that we committed one of our investigators to Baptism!!!!!!!!! We think she is already a member, just playing an investigator, but there is still a chance that she isn't and that she might get baptised!!!!!!!!! 

The investigators we teach here are called TRC investigators, which just means that they are just helping us practice teaching for when we get out into our fields of labor. With that though, 43 of those "fake" investigators aren't members of the church and are actually looking into the Gospel!! I LOVE all of my investigators, and I have felt Gods love for each and everyone of them, which makes it hard, because sometimes they don't recognize that and have a hard time having faith. 

I seriously LOVE what I am doing!!! 10/10 recommend missions to everyone!!!!!!

Something really cool I realized/was taught/ never had really thought about before is what does "the Gospel" even mean?? "The Gospel" of Jesus Christ is simply that we have a way to live with our Father in Heaven again with our families for time and all eternity, because of the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ!!! I want to share that with everyone, and I am so grateful that I am on a mission right now, preparing to go to Canada, to do just that!! I want to share Gods love with the World and show them that there is a way to make it through anything, and that means ANYTHING!!!! 

I have only been here for a week and a half and I already feel my faith has grown SO MUCH!!!!

June 17 - 1st Companion, First P-day

Everyone has been telling us that if you can make it to Sunday you'll be fine!! Well, it's saturday and Sister Larsen and I are both doing great!!!! BTW,  I was right!!! Sister Larsen is my companion!! 

A few months ago I was stalking Instagram accounts trying to find someone going to Edmonton, I only ever found one sister leaving the same day as me and we are companions!!! I LOVE HER!!! She is so funny and smart and has such a strong desire to serve and learn as much as possible about the life of Christ and everything else related to the gospel!! We get along so well, she has seriously become my best friend here!!!! 

In our district we are the only sisters and the only people going to Canada!! All of the elders are going to India (I had no idea there were English speaking missions in india). Our teachers are Brother Croft and Brother Chappell, they are both so awesome!!   Along with that we are part of a pilot program for the MTC , PMG and other missionary related things!!!  We haven't been to choir yet, because they practice on Sundays and Tuesdays, but we are going to join!!

We've taught our first two investigators and have made two other contacts!!!!! Tanner is our first investigator, I think he is making good progress and we've only taught him once!! Our first lesson went so well I think, the spirit was there and we could really feel God's love for him!!
Our second investigator in Matthew (who is played by Brother Croft). Matthew was an investigator that Brother Croft taught while he was on his mission in Houston Texas. Our lesson with him didn't go as well as with Tanner, but we felt the spirit by the end, and we hope that Matthew recognized it as the spirit also.
With our new pilot program we go out and find our own investigators (most of which are members that are acting, but there are a few that are really investigating the church which is really cool).
Our classroom is in the new building and it is beautiful!!! In every lobby area(which there are at least 4 on every level) has a muial of some scripture stories and we took a district picture in front of the one of Moses parting the red sea!!! They are all so awesome!!!

I LOVE being on my mission and I KNOW that this is where I need to be, and I am so grateful that this is where I need to be because it is amazing!!!
I know that this Gospel is true and it is infinite, nor knowledge  of it will continue to grow continuously if we let it!! I know that even with a simple desire to have faith of the things of this Gospel that it will be enough and your faith will grow and become steadfast!! 

I LOVE all of you and can't wait to hear from you!!!!
